WHO WE ARE
We offer signed and historic documents, images and ephemera. We have a passion for the historical context and story that lies behind our offerings. President and Founder, Allan Maki, has been involved with documents, philatelic materials and postal history since the 1970's. In 1999 he formed Berryhill & Sturgeon, Ltd. in order to manage and market privately held collections of high quality autographed and historic documents, paper ephemera and philatelic material. He is a Life Member of the American Philatelic Society and a Member of the Collectors Club of New York.

historical details and additional high quality images. We also have two
new specialized divisions. Empire Post is dedicated to Postal History
from the Age of Empires. It includes Stamped and Stampless Postal
Covers, Envelopes, Postcards, Sheet Folded Letters and Historic Letters
from the 1450's to the early 1900's. Superb Stamps is dedicated to
offering philatelic material and collections. They are all a part of
Berryhill & Sturgeon - our family owned business. We accept no
